Born in New Your City, Coach Randy began training at Straight Blast Gym Buford in 2017. He had been a fan of the UFC and wanted to pick up a fun, challenging, and rewarding new hobby (and he wanted to learn how to fight). After a couple of years of training at SBG he joined our staff and has since become a strong and important part of our team. In 2019 he began working as a First Impression Specialist, and in 2020 he began coaching and leading many of our Growing Gorillas Kids Jiu Jitsu classes. When Straight Blast Gym Atlanta began operating in the fall of 2020, Coach Randy made the move as a key component to the new gym.

When Coach Randy isn't on the mats training in Jiu Jitsu or Muay Thai, he can be found watching MMA, playing basketball, or watching pretty much any sport.
