Manu has been tearing it up in SBG Buford’s Fitness Kickboxing program for the last 2 years.
There are certain things that you can count on happening. The sun coming up, encountering traffic when you’re already running late (isn’t it ironic..), and Manu Faure being present and on his A-game during a 5pm Fitness Kickboxing class.
Manu started training in SBG Buford‘s Fitness Kickboxing program back in the summer of 2019. Right of the rip, he became a favorite among his coaches. Not only was it obvious that he had a friendly demeanor and strong desire to succeed, but he and Coach Alex made a personal connection rather quickly.
“This has nothing to do with Kickboxing, but Manu and I have similar taste in music which makes class more fun lol. He saw Justice and then The Prodigy in the early 2000s in France, which is pretty awesome. It’s an added bonus when I can connect with a student on a personal level, and we can talk about things outside of training and the gym.”
The primary focus of our Fitness Kickboxing classes are, you guessed it….fitness. That being said, our classes are taught by former or active Kickboxing competitors who will teach you REAL kickboxing skill and technique. Manu is one of the athletes at SBG Buford that pays extra attention to detail, and it shows in his work.
Fitness Kickboxing Coach Alex Caruso added this about Manu:
“As far as his presence in the gym, he always has an incredibly positive attitude that makes him super approachable to our new students. After every single class he thanks me for the workout. Technique-wise, his stuff has gotten really really good. The classes are ‘fitness first’, but watching Manu train you can tell that we’re teaching real Kickboxing and not just a bunch of fluff.”
Manu is the Director of Restaurants at the Waldorf Astoria in Buckhead. He is a conesour of wine and can tell you anything and everything about it.
