    Straight Blast Gym's Cardio Kickboxing classes are 50 minutes long, packed with exciting drills and routines designed to keep you mentally engaged and shred body fat!

    • Is this a fighting class? Is anyone going to be hitting or touching me?

      That would be a big NOPE. Fitness Kickboxing classes are primarily focused on just that, FITNESS. The goal here is to get you in amazing shape; not turn you into the next Ultimate Fighter. Now don’t misunderstand, you will learn REAL kickboxing from a REAL kickboxing coach, but you’ll only throw strikes at a heavy bag; never at each other.

    • What does a Cardio Kickboxing class look like?

      In addition to using real kickboxing techniques and real kickboxing combinations on your bag, our coaches implement kettlebells, suspension straps, dumbbells, bodyweight movements, ab mats, slam balls, and more to keep classes varied and fun. The curriculum rotates every day to ensure that you never have the same workout two days in-a-row, or even in the same week.

    • I’m currently very out of shape; will Cardio Kickboxing classes be too difficult for me?

      Our Fitness Kickboxing classes are as hard or easy as you choose to make them. We’re going to give you a workout that has the capability to push you to your physical limit, but you don’t have to follow that narrative. All of our athletes are able to scale their workouts to a level of difficulty that fits their personal level of skill and fitness and you can take a break any time you need. While our coaches are here to motivate you and hold you accountable, we’re not going to force or pressure you into doing anything that makes you uncomfortable. Because of the close nature of our gym, the Cardio Kickboxing coaches know all of their athletes and know what they are and are not capable of. As long as you’re doing your best, that’s all we can ask for.

    • I saw your Fitness Performance program; what is that all about?

      SBG Buford’s Fitness Performance program is a coach-led circuit training program that involves more weight training, plyometrics, and hypertrophy (muscle building) than our Cardio Kickboxing classes. The vast majority of the athletes in our Fitness program train in both our Kickboxing and Performance classes, finding a balance that suits them best. Fitness Performance classes are a part of your Fitness membership and don’t cost anything extra.

    • How old do I need to be to participate in SBG’s Cardio Kickboxing program?

      All of our Fitness Kickboxing students need to at least be in high school (14 years old or above).

    • Can I participate in your fitness programs AND your martial arts programs?

      Absolutely. That’s one of the beautiful things about Straight Blast Gym; you can participate in as many different types of classes as you like. Most of our athletes participate in more than one program, maximizing the services available at SBG.
