The Gorilla Cup is back! Our next rendition will be held in SBG Buford on September 10th. Registration for the event will only cost you a $40 donation to the Gorilla Fund.
The Gorilla Cup is one of our favorite events of the year. It’s an in-house Jiu Jitsu tournament that raises money for our Gorilla Fund (more on that later). All SBG Jiu Jitsu students that are a 2-stripe white belt and above are welcome to participate in this event. The cost of registration is a $40 donation to the Gorilla Fund. Those who cannot participate in the Gorilla Fund are still welcome to make a donation to our Gorilla Fund.
Make your donation before September 1st and get $5 off of your registration!!
What is the Gorilla Fund?
The Gorilla Fund is what we at SBG Atlanta use to help our students pay for fees and costs that come along with competing in martial arts. Registration fees, medicals, travel expenses…these things add up, and the Gorilla Fund helps make it possible for a lot of our students (especially younger students) to stay active on the competition scene. All proceeds from the Gorilla Cup go to the Gorilla Fund, as it is usually our biggest fund-raiser of the year.
Our goal for this rendition of the Gorilla Cup is to raise $2,000 for the Gorilla Fund!! 💪🦍
You can make your donation and register for the Gorilla Cup at either our Atlanta or Buford locations. While the event is being held in Buford, our Jiu Jitsu students in Atlanta are more than welcome (and encouraged) to participate in this event. Whether you are a seasoned competitor or a first-timer, the Gorilla Cup is a fantastic competition for everyone. Most importantly, your participation helps to raise money for an outstanding cause.
Even if you are not able to compete in the Gorilla Fund, you are welcome to make a donation and give your spot to someone else.
