Going to a new gym can be scary.
It’s like having that “new kid in school” anxiety as an adult. You’re going to an unfamiliar place, filled with unfamiliar people, to participate in activities that you may not be very good at. Most times the hardest part is taking that first step and deciding that you want to make some life changes for the better. Whether it is looking for better health, a better body, more energy, learning new skills, or a combination of all of them, making the conscious choice to turn things around. Jason made that decision when his weight started to really affect his health and lifestyle.
When asked what his all-time heaviest weight was, Jason immediately came back with an answer. 513 pounds.
He had reached a point where his health was in serious jeopardy. He was starting to get numbness in his hands when he would sleep, and moving around was becoming a pretty exhausting chore. He decided he needed to make some changes to improve his quality of life. He eventually called Straight Blast Gym.
When he arrived at SBG, he was 370 pounds and looking for a new and exciting way to live a healthier lifestyle. Jason immediately got to work, trying out every program offered at Straight Blast Gym. Brazilian
When asked what his favorite part of training at Straight Blast Gym he says
“The people. Everybody is super welcoming and encouraging.”
Coach Jim, who works with Jason in Kickboxing and Muay Thai classes adds
“Jason is beyond dedicated. If a couple of days go by and he isn’t in the gym we all wonder where he is. His results have been absolutely phenomenal.”
