This month we celebrate Kaylee Aguirres’ achievement as the Kids Student of the Month at SBG Buford!
At just 12 years old, Kaylee has made significant strides in her Jiu Jitsu journey since joining the gym in 2021. Kaylee shines not only in her own practice but also as a guiding force for fellow students both inside and outside the training area.
Coach Montana mentioned that Kaylee has truly blossomed since receiving her Leadership Blue GI in Jiu Jitsu class; she now exudes more self-assurance and assertiveness in her demeanor despite her naturally reserved personality traits. The way Kaylee carries herself on the mat showcases her skillful Jiu Jitsu techniques effortlessly. She’s known for her ability to roll with students of all sizes, providing just the right amount of challenge without overpowering smaller partners. Her attention to detail, respectfulness, and focus in every session make her a standout student.
Coach Drew speaks highly of Kaylee and considers her one of his top students whom he admires greatly for her dedication and upbeat demeanor that have garnered admiration from both coaches and peers alike. Dennis, Kaylee’s father, is also a respected purple belt at SBG, and it’s evident that their family shares a strong passion for the sport.
At SBG Atlanta Buford’s kids Jiu Jitsu program, we emphasize beyond mastering techniques; we aim to develop life skills such as discipline and respect, – and Kaylee embodies that daily! We take pride in her progress and eagerly anticipate the exciting path ahead for her in her Jiu Jitsu journey.
Well done on your achievements, Kaylee; your commitment and effort motivate us all.
