One of the top reasons parents get their children enrolled in martial arts is to help them develop confidence. The only problem is, a lot of martial arts give their students a false confidence.

 

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu teaches kids a martial art that ACTUALLY WORKS, with techniques that are tried and tested is every single class.

 

By teaching the martial art to the kids, and then allowing the students to work that technique or movement on other students, the children discover that what they are doing really is effective! If they can take down, and control, and larger kid in class…then they could do the same to a bully if they had to. Now don’t get me wrong, a big part of our kids martial arts program is how to diffuse a situation with words and actions, but at the end of the day we also want to arm your kid with the techniques and skillset to physically defend themselves if they need to.
