Cinco De Muayo Event Recap: A Muay Thai Fiesta in the Park

On May 5th, our Muay Thai community gathered for an unforgettable day of training, fun, and camaraderie at George Pierce Park. Coach Alex led our students through an exciting Muay Thai session right in the heart of the park. The beautiful park setting provided the perfect backdrop for building our skills, working up a sweat, and enjoying the fresh air.

But the fun didn’t stop there. After Muay Thai Training in the park, we celebrated with a festive feast of tacos and margaritas. The “Cinco De Muayo” event, a playful nod to both Muay Thai and Cinco de Mayo, was the perfect blend of hard work and celebration. It was an awesome opportunity for our members to connect, relax, and enjoy each other’s company outside of the gym environment.

The event is a perfect example of SBG Atlanta tribe—bringing people together, fostering community, and celebrating our shared passion for Martial Arts!

A big shoutout to Coach Alex for organizing such an awesome event and to everyone who came out to make it special. We can’t wait for the next one!

Check out some of the highlights from the day in the photos below.
