Josh Koser has been selected as the Student of the Month for September 2024 at SBG Atlanta! At 32 years old, Josh has accomplished feats in Jiu Jitsu, earning his purple belt, and is also recognized as a skilled professional MMA fighter (set to fight in an upcoming NFC event scheduled for October 26th as part of the highly anticipated NFC #169)!
Josh truly exemplifies what it means to be a part of a tribe. His coaches and teammates agree that he is the kind of athlete who consistently puts his training partners first. Coach Phillipe remarks, “Josh is a hard worker, always at practice, and goes above and beyond to help his teammates. He’s the kind of guy who would give you the shirt off his back. His dedication, consistency, and selflessness make him an invaluable part of SBG.”
Coach Pat agrees and adds that “Josh is the epitome of SBG. He is a high-level training partner who makes sure everyone around him gets better. His sense of community and family shines through in everything he does, both in training and outside of the gym.”
Josh’s dedication to his training (MMA, Strength & Conditioning, Jiu Jitsu & Muay Thai) is truly impressive. He can be spotted on the mats daily, either getting ready for a fight or simply supporting his fellow teammates at the gym. He embodies the Tribe philosophy not just in his training but also in the deep connections he builds within the community. Josh works alongside other Tribe members in his professional life, strengthening the bond of the SBG family beyond the gym.
