Laura Koller is our February's Fitness Member of the Month!

There aren’t many people that have the enthusiasm and dedication to fitness as Laura.

She can be found at Straight Blast Gym just about everyday, whether it be in Fitness Performance, Cardio Kickboxing, or doing our Barbell Club programming in the weight room. No matter how much is going on in her life she finds time to hit the gym, something that certainly doesn’t go unnoticed by her coaches. Coach Jim Sheppard:

 

“Laura is a rockstar! Not only is she a constant in class but she’s super enthusiastic about the gym and what we do. She’s brought several of her friends to the gym with her to check out class. Plus, she gets extra points for being a Game of Thrones fan.”

 

Laura is very vocal about her passion for the classes and programming at Straight Blast Gym. She had this to say regarding the Fitness Performance program:

 

“I like that the programming and classes have a purpose, and the coaches tell you they are working towards a goal. I like that they do keep things varied, and are aware of the impact the workouts are having on the athletes, and tweak it based on the results they see.”

Coming from another gym, Laura was looking for group fitness classes that would not only help her to look great, but to also feel great. After all, not every workout should leave you feeling worn down and needing days off to recover. Laura alternates between the Fitness Performance and Cardio Kickboxing classes, formulating a workout plan that works best for her recovery, and her results.
