In October, Vaughn Clayton was awarded with his grey and black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu !

“I liked the idea of getting him into Brazilian Jiu Jitsu because it was a functional martial art that he could apply to real life. I’m a big proponent of kid’s facing and over-coming adversity. Jiu Jitsu makes Vaughn do just that; overcome adversity from others and use his jiu jitsu to deal with the situation.”
Vaughn’s progress on the mats couldn’t be denied. Things really started to click
“He has truly grown since joining the Leadership program, as he has taken the bull by the horns with leading the newer students on simple things like lining up and warm ups, and also assisting with techniques and sparring when needed. He exemplifies the type of leadership and maturity that we aim for in the Submission Samurai and Leadership programs”
